Welcome home.

SashaMama doesn’t need a physical space to be felt or experienced. Whether we’re working together virtually or in person, the essence of what I bring is embodied and palpable, transcending any limitations. It’s a frequency celebrating you in your humanness and invites you to slow down and indulge in the sacred—where every breath and moment become a ritual of self honouring.

I’m Sasha, a holistic wellness guide and ceremonialist, devoted to leading others towards true wealth: vibrant health! My approach is rooted in an integrated understanding of wellness, encompassing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual realms—in that order. Through my own decade-long healing journey with mysterious autoimmune issues (head-to-toe eczema, hormonal imbalances, intense menstrual cycles, insomnia, and depression), I’ve transformed my practice into an easeful and safe pathway for others to find healing. I do this by weaving together ancient wisdom, ancestral healing, lymphatic support, holistic nutrition, and heart-centered teachings.

It is this unique blend that forms the foundation of SashaMama—a space where wellness is more than the absence of illness but a radiant expression of true wholeness.

I believe true wellness begins with deep self inquiry, compassion and discipline—living life as an altar, devoting ourselves to our highest expression through empowerment, embodiment and elevation.

The SashaMama Philosophy: True wellness is radical. It emerges from the radical acceptance of what has been, taking radical responsibility for what is, and stepping up into disciplines (daily devotions making you a disciple of your highest timeline.) This journey begins with your body—what you put into it and how you move it. When the body is aligned, and your heart is opened - everything else can fall into place more easefully. And if your heart struggles to open, we have the tools to guide you right into it.

Training and Experience

It’s more fun when we sit over tea and let the conversation flow. However if you must know the bare bones of my years in this work:

  • The Catalyst 2013: During a gap year, I coached rugby and taught at a school for Indigenous kids in Far North Queensland, Australia. This happened to be a deeply challenging year marked by grief and loss, which ultimately triggered an autoimmune condition. The combo reshaped my perspective and inspired me to pivot from journalism to wellness, setting me on a journey of healing and self-discovery.

  • Reiki Master Teacher Training 2013-2015: Gifts began to activate - that’s usually what trauma does - so, as suggested by my Shamanka Elder of 15 years, Kaariina Saarinen, and following the footsteps of my Reiki Master and Holistic Practitioner mama, I was trained and certified in Dr. Usui Holy Fire Reiki.

  • The Pursuit of Kinesiology 2015-2017: I’ve always had a deep love for fitness and health, which initially led me to pursue kinesiology. While I excelled in anatomy, biology, and physiology, I realized the traditional academic structure wasn’t the right fit for me. Leaving my program before graduation, I Instead chose to carve my own path, immersing myself in real-world learning and hands-on experiences that have better shaped my holistic approach to wellness.

  • Supplement Specialist: As the youngest Supplements and Body Care Buyer for Whole Foods Canada East (2016–2019), I gained firsthand insight into the natural health industry, uncovering the often-overlooked reality: for many brands, it’s more about marketing than meaningful quality. This realization drove me to dive deep into understanding which brands genuinely deliver value and which are simply out to profit at our expense.

  • Independent Researcher: Driven by my lifelong passion for independent research, I’ve delved deeply into biohacking and alternative health since 2013, inspired by my own journey of overcoming autoimmunity. Becoming my own best advocate introduced me to a world of like-minded individuals and groundbreaking thinkers, including Matt Blackburn (MitoLife) and mineral balancing wizard, Aaron Hiatt (RedoxStasis), whose work continues to inform and elevate my approach to well-being.

  • Student of the Intertribal Altar of Initiatic Traditions 2018-Present: On the path of initiation through a shamanic, astrological and yogic lineage led by my dear teacher, Maestro Manuel Rufino

  • Vision Quests 2022-2026: Completed 2 out of 4, on track to receiving the chanupa (sacred prayer pipe). A Lakota tradition passed to my teacher above.

  • Dr. Perry Nickelston | Lymph Doctor @stopchasingpain : Ongoing advanced training in movement, vagus nerve, lymphatic health, and pain management.

  • Ayurvedic and Chinese Medicine: Comprehensive understanding of the body’s energy systems and balance.

  • Kundalini Yoga: Techniques to harness and elevate personal energy.

  • Family Constellations 2021-Present: Training with Marina Toledo of Hellinger Institute, specializing in systemic healing to uncover and resolve ancestral and familial patterns.
